Renowned Wildlife Artist Robert Gillmor Has Died

I have received this email from BIRDscapes Gallery about the sad passing of Robert Gillmor.

Robert Gillmor – b. Reading, July 6th 1936, d. Cley, May 8th 2022

After being one of the greatest lives of modern British wildlife art, Robert Gillmor passed away peacefully, with his family around him, on the evening of Sunday May 8th.
A huge number of people will have met Robert during his incredibly influential career and been drawn to the qualities of the man as much as to his wonderful pictures. In view of this widespread appreciation, we have decided to open a Book of Remembrance, at BIRDscapes.
If, on a visit to the gallery, you would like to leave a memory of Robert, or a recollection of one of his pictures with special meaning for you, or simply to pass on your condolences to his family, please feel free to write in this book. Alternatively, if you would like to write an appreciation in an email, please send it to art@birdscapes.co.uk and we will be pleased to print it off and add it to the book.Thank you,Steve and Liz
