Prepare yourself! Wolf’s Child is coming to Felbrigg Hall 5th to 23rd May 2015
At Felbrigg Hall in North Norfolk something exciting and unusual is going to happen during May.
As part of the Norfolk and Norwich Festival, the landscape theatre company, WildWorks, will be presenting a new work using the Hall as a backdrop. As the production unfolds it will move into Felbrigg Great Wood.
WildWorks was founded in 2005 by Bill Mitchell and has since performed in locations around the world. Working alongside local communities the company’s outdoor dramatic productions are like nothing you will have seen before.
Wolf’s Child is described as “an immersive journey deep into the dark woods, to a world of shape-shifting animals and humans.” Exciting stuff! This adult fairytale, featuring love and betrayal, opens against the backdrop of the Hall and will then take the audience on an “extraordinary journey through the trees to a place of magical transformation; where crows talk and wolves sing, and where one disobedient serving maid discovers her inner beast.”
Intrigued? So am I.
