It looks as though the Norfolk Wildlife Trust will be able to acquire an extra 143 acres of land between Salthouse and Cley comprised of grazing marshes, ponds and reedbeds.

Norwich City College plans approved for new creative arts building
A new creative arts centre is to be built on the Ipswich road site of Norwich City College. The three-storey building will have facilities for rehearsals, state-of-the-art media suites and a TV studio.

Happisburgh handaxe – judged most important archaeological find
In 2000 a dog walker in Happisburgh spotted and picked up an interesting piece of flint. The experts at Norwich Museum were consulted and they declared it to be a Palaeolithic handaxe that was dated to 700,000BC.
