The products are particularly relevant at the moment. “We are Handmade Norfolk Soaps. All our soaps are antibacterial and antiseptic. We are working hard to help everyone stay safe at home, by stocking Norfolk pharmacists and selling our products online, so they can be delivered to your door. Our family business that has been making natural soaps in North Norfolk…

Cley Smokehouse Shop at Glandford nr Holt

Cley Smokehouse Shop at Glandford nr Holt

I have purchased fish from Cley Smokehouse for many years and the quality has always been excellent. When I visited recently I found the shop in Cley was closed for refurbishment. There was a sign on the door directing customers to new premises at Glandford so I made my way there. I found this smart new smokehouse shop in the complex of Manor Farm Barns where Cley Spy, BIRDscapes Gallery and the Art Cafe are also located. The interior of…

An Autumn Walk at Stiffkey in North Norfolk

An Autumn Walk at Stiffkey in North Norfolk

The season of ‘mists and mellow fruitfulness’ has arrived and the main holiday season in North Norfolk has drawn to a close. We are now getting into the winter mindset, hoping that the ‘beast from the east’ won’t revisit. The lightweight walking shoes are cleaned and put away and the leather walking boots have been dragged from the back of the cupboard for their annual waterproofing treatment. The area is still attracting visitors because it is half-term and we have…

Unfortunately, I cannot credit the maker because I can’t identify him other than he is Simon – A bloke in the Woods. Anyway, thank you Simon for the information. I am sure it will inspire visitors to Norfolk to walk part if not all of the coast path. If you are a keen…
