Cromer Carnival – it’s that time of year again!
Starting (hopefully quietly) on July the 26th with a darts competition at Cromer Social Club and culminating on Carnival Friday on August 23rd, North Norfolk’s premier carnival is all set to fully entertain locals and visitors to the seaside town.
Disappointed by the non-availability of the Red Arrows this year the organisers were not deterred, securing not one but two aerial display teams for this year’s carnival. The Blades Aerobatic Display Team will perform at 12 p.m. on Wednesday 21st August. The Wildcats, a local aerobatics team based at Old Buckenham, will follow by performing their aerial stunts at 3 p.m.
The other events are really too numerous to list so why not visit the Carnival website for full details to plan your day out at the ‘Gem of the Norfolk Coast’.
I have it on good authority that the weather will be glorious this year, so get out those sun hats, ladle on the factor 30 and get to Cromer for a great time.
