Body found in car submerged in River Wensum at Norwich
At 5.20 p.m. yesterday police officers attended at the bank of the River Wensum on Ferry Road, Norwich. This was following a report from a member of the public that a vehicle was in the river.

Cley 12 Art Group – sculptures on Cley beach
The Cley 12 association of local artists are staging an exhibition at St Margaret’s Church in Cley-next-the-Sea between the 5th July and the 5th August. It does not stop there, however, as some large sculptures are installed on Cley beach.
Government approves new wind farms off Norfolk coast

A quest for treasure at Norfolk’s Blickling Hall
Throughout July and August a series of paintings by the Cromer based artist Lizzie Riches are displayed in the Long Gallery at Blickling Hall near Aylsham. These paintings form the basis of a treasure hunt devised by Colin Rawlings of the Red Dot Gallery in Holt.
Norfolk’s County Hall to be refurbished
Norfolk County Council has revealed plans to update the interior and some of the exterior of its headquarters, the 50-year old County Hall. It is estimated that the total cost will be in the region of £22 million pounds. This is a long-term project that will be ongoing over the next 25 years.
North Norfolk MP proclaimed a hero
The North Norfolk MP, Mr. Norman Lamb, was described as a hero today when he single-handedly foiled an attempt to steal the Olympic Torch as it passed through Cromer.
